Many users are trying to automate windows/server administration as much as possible. One way is by using Keyboard Shortcuts to minimize mouse clicking and to speed-up work, another way is by creating shortcuts or scripts. In this post I will show you how to create different Power Button shortcuts and reboot/log off or shutdown your server/PC with one-click.

SHUTDOWN SHORTCUT

Right click on an empty area on your desktop. Select New > Shortcut.

Select one from the system icons or browse to the icon of your choice and click OK.

Now if you double-click on it, it will shutdown your computer immediately.
